We would always recommend publishing with the latest DfE Rules that are relevant to the year of your cohort. The most recent DfE Rules option is from 2022, and so these are the DfE Rules which should be used for all cohorts from that year onwards.
For the A8 & VA Estimates and the Data Collaboration, we would recommend publishing with the latest options available:
- A8 Estimates & VA Estimates: The latest option is 2024 Collab - Exams
- Data Collaboration: The latest option is 2024 Collab

Please note these estimates are only available to schools who have opted in to, and set up the Data Collaboration for 23/24 leavers. Any schools that are not opted in should use 2023 official A8 & VA Estimates.
You would need to republish the reports again once the official 2024 Provisional DfE A8 and VA Estimates are released in October. |
