This guide covers how to make manual changes to grades within the Grade Management section in KS3/4 or KS5.
The screenshots in this article are taken from KS3/4 but the process is the same for KS5 cohorts.
Grade Management
To access the Grade Management section, go to DATA > select Key Stage and Cohort > GRADES > Grades Management, then select the relevant data set or assessment collection from the dropdown/s.
This will display all qualifications and the sets of classes assigned to those qualifications down the left, alongside grade and AtL judgement counts, which can be clicked on to drill down and view individual students.
Note - if you make changes to your grades, you will then need to republish these to update your reports.
Warning icons will be displayed next to grades or judgement counts if there are any setup issues found. See the articles in the Grades Management section for help resolving them. |
Adding or Editing Grades
When you click and drill down on a grade or AtL count from Grades Management, you will be presented with a list of students with a grade uploaded in that qualification.
Adding Grades
To add a small number of grades manually, ensure the Grade column is selected and then click 'Add Grade'.
Select the student, check the date, and enter the grade for them. Then click Add. |
Editing Grades
To edit a grade, ensure the Grade column is selected and then click 'Edit Grades'.
Type in your amendments for any students and click Save. |
Editing a grade's date
To edit the date associated to a grade (usually for first entry exams), ensure the Grade column is selected, select the student's grade by placing a tick in the tick box and click 'Edit Date'.
Enter or select the appropriate date and click Save. |
Editing AtL Judgements
Note - Additional AtL judgements cannot be added manually, instead, this would need to be done via a CSV file import. |
To edit an AtL judgement, ensure the appropriate AtL category column is selected and then click 'Manage [Category]'.
Type in your changes and click Save.
