The quickest way to resolve this would be to first import the correct student data for the cohort in DATA > select key stage and cohort > STUDENTS > Import.
During the import process, ensure to select ‘Update Statuses’ to tell Analytics that the correct cohort of students is included within the selected file. This will revert any students in the file to their previous status and set the students imported in error to ‘Left School’. |
You should now see these students listed in the 'Inactive Students' section at the bottom of the page:
You can then remove the incorrect ‘Left School’ students from the cohort completely. To do this, click 'Select All', then we'd recommend checking for any students who should be Left School for the cohort and unticking those. Once all incorrect students are ticked, click 'Delete'.
You will then be prompted to confirm whether you want to delete their student details only (such as filter values and focus groups) or if you want to delete all their data (including grades, KS2 or EAP baselines, etc.). As these students should not have any such data imported for that cohort, you can select either option here, followed by 'Delete' to finalise this.
Please note: As each cohort in Analytics is managed separately, deleting the students out of an incorrect cohort will not affect the correct cohort if these students have any data uploaded there. |
