Below we have outlined how to copy an EAP from one cohort to another in both KS3/4 and KS5. This will copy the setup of one EAP (including the expected grades) into another, which can be handy when creating similar types of EAPs for different qualifications of the same grade type.
The screenshots are for KS5, but the process is the same for KS3/4
Note - You can only copy EAPs if you have the same baseline type in use within both cohorts.
Once you have created an EAP in any cohort, you then have the option to copy the setup to produce another EAP using the same baseline type, grade methods and expected grades by going to DATA > KS5 and Cohort > KS4/EAP > EAP/Baselines > EAP > ‘Create EAP’ (in KS3/4 this is DATA > KS3/4 and Cohort > KS2/EAP > EAP > 'Create EAP').
You would firstly need to select 'Copy existing EAP' and then the cohort you want to copy from. Then, select the specific EAP you are looking to copy.
If the EAP you are copying does not have all EAP pathways populated with expected grades, you will be presented with a pop up informing you of this and asking if that is definitely the EAP that you want to copy. To proceed, you will just need to click 'Confirm'.
The baseline type is populated automatically based on the EAP you select to be copied.
You can then create up to 10 EAPs, by entering an EAP name, as well as an optional EAP description. Then, select the EAP baseline from the list of subjects uploaded and seen on the Baseline Management page, for the selected baseline type.
Once you have made the relevant selections, click ‘Create’.
This will copy the selected EAP along with the expected grades entered, creating the new EAPs with the names and baselines you have entered.
