The current year 11 and year 10 cohorts (24/25 & 25/26 Leavers) did not sit official KS2 tests as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of this, they do not have any official Scaled Scores which would normally be used as the baselines to calculate these measures.
As a result of this, while all attainment-based headline figures such as EBacc, Attainment 8 and Basics should all still be available as normal, Progress 8 and the Sisra-exclusive SPI measure cannot be calculated and as such will be blank in the reports due to there being no KS2 baselines for these students.
The DfE have confirmed Progress 8 will NOT be reported on officially for 24/25 and 25/26 Leavers, as outlined on page 13 of the Secondary Accountability Measures guidance.
Sisra Admins: In the meantime however, we know that some schools have allocated Scaled Scores for these students retrospectively, and so have been able to publish the reports for this cohort to produce Progress 8 and SPI for internal analysis. If you are interested in how to obtain KS2 Scaled Scores for 24/25 and 25/26 cohorts (in order to see Progress 8 and/or SPI for these students), as a Sisra Administrator we would recommend requesting to join our community forum, or Facebook group where Data Managers in Sisra schools all over the country may be able to help. You can do this within the links in the article here Please note that the Sisra Support team are not able to advise on how to obtain converted Scaled Scores for these two cohorts. It is also worth noting that, as mentioned above, the DfE have confirmed Progress 8 will be NOT reported on for these two cohorts, and as such any Progress 8 figures generated using retrospective KS2 data would not be representative. |
