Within the Grade Analysis report - Grade Summary view of the KS5 Reports, you can view standard grade figures (such as the number or percentage of A grades, B grades, etc.) for each qualification. You can also view cumulative grade ranges (such as the number or percentage of A*-B grades, D*-P grades, etc.) for each qualification.
Viewing Cumulative Grade Ranges
To view cumulative grade ranges, open your chosen report (REPORTS > KS5 > Select the cohort > select the DATA SET > Grade Analysis). Then follow the steps below:
- Ensure you're in the Grades Analysis report > Grade Summary view
- Select whether you'd like to view the grade ranges for Groups, Faculties, Qualifications, Classes, or Students next to 'Group Report Data By'.
- Next to OPTIONS, set the Standard - Cumulative toggle to Cumulative.
Note: You can also switch the Count - Percent option to 'Percent', if you'd like to view percentages rather than counts.
The column headers will then be updated to display grade ranges (such as A*-A, A*-B etc.), allowing you to view and analyse the count or percentage of cumulative grade changes for your chosen group.
The DISPLAY GRADES AS (highlighted in orange in the below screenshot) option also allows you to group or view your students’ grades as an equivalent grade. For example, you can view the grade ranges based on the actual grades each qualification is awarded, or as official equivalents to GCE A Level A*-E, or vocational DMP etc.
Note - You can click on the column headers to sort, for example, if you'd like to view the list from high to low on a specific grade count!
