Headlines Report
To access the headlines report, click into REPORTS > KS5 > select cohort. Then, select the DATA SET in the dropdown and click Headlines. Each Headline measure, such as Best 3 A Levels, Eng/Mat Progress and Value Added will also have their separate areas where you can analyse these in more detail.
Once in the reports, you can switch to a different report, view, or group at the top of the page, or use the DATA SET dropdown to switch to a different data set or assessment.
Please note that students who have a status of 'On Roll', 'Year 12 Only' or ‘Year 13 Only’ need 2 A Level sized entries (either 2 grades worth at least 1 A Level entry each, or 1 grade worth 2 entries) to be included in school performance measures. We recommend double checking that this status is accurately set for appropriate students using DfE criteria. Please see our cohort eligibility article here if needed.
If you would like more information on how each measure on the Headline report is calculated, please take a look at our KS5 Reports: Headlines article. |
Analysing Key Student Groups
You can use the 'Breakdown Data By' drop down on different report views to select the key filter group you would like to analyse. This will breakdown the figures for you based on all values imported for that filter (with up to 15 distinct values). If the filter has 2 values only, it will also enable GAP analysis.
On other report views, e.g. Value Added view, you can also click on Groups which will enable Group level analysis, with the figures broken down by each filter value (provided the filter has no more than 15 distinct values).
