This is usually caused by the file format being imported, as some newer versions of Office can default to CSV (Macintosh) or CSV (Comma Delimited) instead of the correct 'MS DOS' type.
To resolve this, click ‘Cancel the upload’.
We recommend then reopening your file in Excel and clicking File > Save As.
Then, enter a different file name and manually select CSV (MS DOS) in the ‘Save as type’ dropdown and save.
Once saved, you should be able to import your new file (with the new name) into Analytics successfully.
If this does not resolve the issue, we recommend checking within your file to ensure no students have a missing student ID.
Additionally, if you are importing Student Data, you should also check to ensure the Subject and Class columns (Columns C and D) are also populated in the file. Any rows without Subject and Class information will be omitted upon import.
