In the Report Settings sections, you can set specific report options - which will be applied to KS3/4 or KS5 reports by default, for all users.
For example, if you school prefers to view percentage by default in the reports, you can set this here (and this can still be changed manually within the report itself, if needed).
The options available depend on the key stage and can be accessed by clicking CONFIG. > Settings > then select KS3/4 Report Settings (explained here) or KS5 Report Settings (explained here).
KS3/4 Report Settings
To change the settings for KS3/4 reports, select KS3/4 Report Settings. Below we have explained the options available, with examples of what this affects in your reports.
Report Options
- Whole/Sub: Determines whether to include or exclude sub grades when viewing on track figures, comparisons, or colour coding in the reports, by default.
- Count/Percent: Determines whether to display columns highlighted in orange in the reports as counts or percentages, by default.
- Standard/Cumulative: Determines whether to display columns highlighted in orange in the reports as standalone grades or grade ranges, by default (e.g. 9, 8, 7 or 9-8, 9-7 etc.).
- Trend Report - Covid years: Determines whether to include or exclude data for 19/20 and 20/21 Leavers cohorts that were affected by the pandemic, by default in the Qualification Trends report.
Customisation Settings
- Replace ‘EAP’ in column headers with: Allows you to replace ‘EAP’ in the column headers of the reports with terminology more familiar to the staff at school.
Report Home Page Settings
These options allow you to select the default report view displayed when a user clicks the ‘Whole Cohort’, ‘Qualifications’, or ‘Students’ report buttons on the REPORTS home page.
For example, if you would prefer users to view the Headlines Dashboard report when selecting ‘Whole Cohort’, you can select this to be the default option for this particular report level.
- Whole Cohort: Choose from Summary, Dashboard, Charts, or Filters report.
- Qualifications: Choose from Grades – Overview or Grades – Totals report.
- Students: Grades – Totals at students level.
Once you’ve made the relevant changes, click ‘Save’. Any changes you make here will be instant and your reports will not need to be republished.
This page controls the DEFAULT settings for ALL users. Users will still be able to change the report options or areas themselves within the KS3/4 reports.
KS5 Report Settings
To change the settings for KS5 reports, select KS5 Report Settings. Below we have explained the options available, with examples of what this affects in your reports.
Report Options

Report Home Page Settings
The report home page settings determines the default view staff land on when accessing the Performance Cohort, Eng/Mat Progress, and Grade Analysis reports:
- Performance Cohort: Choose from Level 3 Overall - Students, A Level - Students, Academic - Students, Applied General - Students, Tech Level - Students, or Tech Cert - Students report.
- Eng/Mat Progress: Choose from English Progress - Students or Maths Progress - Students
- Grade Analysis: Choose from Grade Summary - Qualifications or On Track - Qualifications
